Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Senself, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Senself is

Senself is a daily check-in tool that helps you build emotional awareness through structured self-monitoring. It includes an AI-powered processing style assessment, daily check-ins with AI emotion detection and categorization, Talk (AI conversation), and pattern tracking over time.

3. What Senself is not

• Not therapy. This is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in distress, please contact a mental health professional.
• Not a diagnosis tool. The assessment and check-in do not diagnose any condition. They are self-awareness tools, not clinical instruments.
• Not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Senself. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Premium subscription

• Premium features are billed monthly at $7/month through Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

7. Content you create

Your check-in entries, Talk conversations, and assessment responses are yours. We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your content for marketing, training AI models, or any purpose other than providing the service to you.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers).
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Share your account credentials with others.

9. Intellectual property

The Senself application, including its design, code, and content (excluding user-created content), is owned by the operator of Senself and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the application.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Senself is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or helpful.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Senself and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, emotional distress, missed diagnoses, or reliance on AI-generated content.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Spain. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer under EU law.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the email associated with your account. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
